SCRACE ARCHITECTS recognise that good levels of communication are important to provide you with the reassurance you need along your journey. Subject to your level of experience the team are here to walk you hand in hand through the complexities of your building project. The Concept Design stage typically encompasses a Feasibility Study, Options Appraisal and Pre-application.
Investigations are often carried out in respect of ecology, conservation and structure. All of which inform and shape the design. Investing in professional advice at this stage helps identify risks and ensures that there a fewer surprises when the project progresses to construction.
Responding to measured and more detailed information we will adjust the design to accommodate any constraints resulting from these studies as well as any minor changes you may wish to make. Taking into account feedback, the design is formalised, and drawings developed sufficiently to communicate proposals to the local authority.
SCRACE ARCHITECTS manage the collation and coordination of the submission of the planning application. We consult regularly with the local authority, parish council and other stakeholders to ensure that they have all they need to be reassured that proposals are in accordance with legislation and local requirements.
